How Does Your Garden Grow
How Does Your Garden Grow is an exploration of my Grandmother’s Irish heritage. In her later life when requesting her birth certificate she discovered that unknown to her she had been adopted at birth. This project explores her emotions towards this surprising revelation, her relationship with her childhood and the locations that surround it.
This is an ongoing exploration where the photographer has spent time visiting Ireland and the locations of Mary’s childhood. The work also shows themes of the relationship the photographer found with these places and the memories they hold.
